Green-painted wooden gold-drawing telescope, made by the Qing Palace Office in the early Qing Dynasty, is 99 cm long, 4 cm in diameter, 2.6 cm in diameter of the objective lens and 1 cm in diameter of the eyepiece. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The telescope tube is made of wood, covered with green paint and decorated with saffron and green leaves
This telescope is a refracting telescope with convex lens crop lens and concave lens as eyepiece. This kind of telescope was created by Italian astronomer Galileo in 1609 to observe celestial bodies. It is known as Galileo telescope.
