Stone flower bonsai, made in the Qing Dynasty, is 31 cm high
The agate carved peach basin has an abstract shape. The wall of the basin is embossed with a circle of peach tree branches and leaves, and the bottom of the basin is covered with a tooth-dyed peach pattern base. There is a view on the wooden tray in the basin. The higher one is Tianzhu, and the lower one is Narcissus. The red fruit on the top of the geranium is made of coral beads, while the narcissus is made of white jade as flowers and sapphire as leaves. There are also 1 Dianthus crenata and 2 Peach Blossoms
This bonsai has distinct layers, the upper pelargonium is relatively sparse, and the lines are varied, especially the crown red coral fruit, which is full of motion and seems to swing due to the wind. The flowers such as narcissus in the lower part are more dense, and the composition is more open. The style of the lower part is elegant, which reflects the enthusiasm of the upper part. This is a masterpiece of exquisite workmanship and beauty in the small bonsai of the Qing Palace.
