Ming Book of Buddhist Relics of Daxingguo Temple in Dengzhou, Sui and Qing Dynasties

[Qing Tuo Sui Dengzhou Daxingguo Temple Pagoda Album]

Qing Tuo Sui Dengzhou Daxingguo Temple Pagoda Album, engraved in the second year of Sui Renshou (602), ink Tuo, cut and mounted in three volumes. Each opening is 30 cm vertically and 34 cm horizontally. Mr. Ma Heng donated gifts
This inscription was engraved in April of the second year of Sui Renshou (602). Regular script is very beautiful, so it is very important for the world. There are even those who make profits by turning it. This is a fine extension of the original stone, which is not damaged by a word, and has been collected by the famous gold and stone expert Wei Xizeng. It is very rare. On the cover of the rubbings is the signature of Ma Heng, and on the back of the book is the postscript of November 2 of Xuantong Gengxu (1910), which reads: “The ink on the rubbings is exquisite, with the seal of Wei Jiasun’s collection. The old one is bound together with the whole one, and now the whole one is divided into one volume. This piece is a temporary one.” The style of the postscript is in close agreement with the Ta Ming. It can be seen that Ma has carefully written it. The seal is sealed with “the seal of Ren He, Wei Xi, Zeng Jiasun”.
