The Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, 6.8X6.8 cm
In the third year of Qianlong’s reign (1738), when the people were dredging the river at the boundary of Baoying County, Jiangsu Province, they dug a jade seal, which immediately attracted the attention of the local officials. Guo Hao, the former governor of Yanqing Prefecture in Zhili, presented it to Gao Bin, the governor of the river in the south of the Yangtze River, and Gao Binjin presented it to Emperor Qianlong. Emperor Qianlong determined that the imperial seal was not made of jade, and then confirmed that the imperial seal was not the legendary imperial seal. Because the seal is considered “lovely in ancient times, its text is’ ordered by heaven, and it will last forever ‘, and its seal method is quite consistent with Cai Zhongping’s copy in the Record of Dropping out of Farming, so it is regarded as a good old tool and stored in another hall”, and is collected as an antique. The Aftermath Committee of the Qing Dynasty found the items in the Xinong Pavilion of the Qianqing Palace during the inventory and is now in the Palace Museum
