The dial of this sundial is in the shape of an arc, and a level tube is placed in the middle of the arc. One end of the dial is a compass, and the other end is a copper frame with a plumb line hanging on it. The level of the sundial can be adjusted with the help of a level pipe and a plumb line. There is a diagonal line between one end of the dial and the upright copper frame, which is called a dial needle. After adjusting the direction and level of the sundial, the projection of the oblique line on the time dial is the current time.
