This picture was painted in the 27th year of Qianlong (1762), when Zheng Xiao was 70 years old. The picture depicts steep mountains and rocks, quiet bamboos and sparse branches, which not only describes the beauty of green bamboo, but also expresses Zheng’s idea of painting bamboo, which is his masterpiece in his later years
Self title: “Qianlong Renwu wrote this in the afternoon of summer and May”. Seal “Old Banqiao 20 years ago” (Zhu Wen rectangular seal). Another topic: “Wen and can draw bamboo, but you have a plan.
