Most of the “Yangzhou School of Painting” schools have won with the theme of flowers and birds, among which Gao Xiang is good at painting landscapes and has a unique style. This picture is taken from a high distance. The mountains and rocks are almost not textured. They are drawn directly in long and short lines, either thick or light, and the ink is simple and bright. The painting methods of tree leaves are varied, relaxed and random, with hooks and clusters. The rich and colorful plant forms are refined into brush and ink styles, which shows the painter’s ability to draw from life and the ingenuity of brush and ink
