Zheng Fu Lishu Jiannan Poetry Axis

[Zheng Fu’s Lishu Jiannan Poetry Axis]

Lishu Jiannan Poetry Axis, Qing Dynasty, Zheng Fu’s book, paper version, 104 cm vertically and 56.7 cm horizontally
A seven-character poem is recorded in this painting. The final impression is that “the Jiannan poem is written in the afternoon and the spring returns to the sun, and the mouth of the valley is Zheng Fu.” The seal of “Zheng Fu” and the seal of “Mai Wanglou” are stamped on the lower part, and the seal of “Fu Chang at Jiuyuan Spring” is stamped on the first part. The lower right corner is stamped with “Yi Bingshou Seal”. “Gengwu” is the twenty-ninth year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1690), when Zheng Fu was 68 years old
The calligraphy brush on this axis is thick and the knot is slightly flat. Zheng Fu’s official script had some subtle changes in his later years, especially in the light and elegant style of the pen, which added a solid and heavy flavor. Especially, some of the outstanding pen changes greatly, and the knot is more compact. The pursuit of innovation and change on the basis of Han Li reflects Zheng Fu’s artistic pursuit of old and firm. This scroll was collected by Yi Bingshou, a famous calligrapher in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, who was also a famous official calligrapher.
