The ivory tower is composed of the front memorial archway, the Jinshui Bridge, the rear pavilion and the pagoda. Memorial archway carved dragon columns, terraces, pavilions and Quchi arch bridges are exquisitely carved, trees, flowers and plants are inlaid with beads and jewels, which are interspersed with each other. In the middle of the 13th floor behind the pavilion, there is a hexagonal pagoda, and the tower crown is decorated with a honeydew gourd shaped crown. Wind chimes fall from the eaves ridges of each floor, and carved fences are used in different patterns. The patterns of each layer are alternately applied with dragon and phoenix, longevity, and precious flowers, which are beautiful and ingenious. In front of and behind the Jinshui Bridge, inside and outside the pavilions and pagodas, groups of immortals each hold magic tools or walk or stand, and cranes, deer and other auspicious animals are intermingled. The relief at the back of the tower is assembled and connected to form a fairy mountain. It is surrounded by pavilions and pagodas, and the steps between the mountains are winding and winding, leading to the top of the mountain. There are also pavilions and pavilions dotted with strange stones, pines and cypresses are beautiful, vines are twisted, green bamboos, plantains, and ganoderma lucidum are clustered
This ivory tower integrates a variety of techniques such as engraving, circular carving, mosaic and dyeing. Carved beams and painted rafters pavilions and pagodas are extremely exquisite, with window edges and patterns as fine as grates, and wind chimes as small as millet grains. The figures in the round sculpture have various postures and different expressions, just like life. This ivory carving tower is carved by Guangdong ivory workshop, packaged in pieces, and transported to the palace manufacturing office before connecting. These works are all made under the supervision of the imperial edict and designated to be presented on the birthday of the emperor and empress, which is hard to see outside the palace.
