Blue jade double linked statue, clear, 27.4 cm high, 26 cm long, 13.5 cm wide
This jade is blue and white, without blemish and mottled. High and low, with the lower body connected. The round mouth of the high statue has no cover, and the neck is ringed with a phoenix. It spreads its wings like flying. The upper part of the abdomen is thick, and the Kui dragon pattern is embossed in shallow relief. There is an elephant head on both sides, and the lower part is set with a live ring. The low statue is flat and wide, with an oval cover, and the upper part is decorated with a shallow relief Kui phoenix pattern, and the wide belly is also decorated with Kui dragon pattern. A phoenix is also carved at the junction of the two statues, echoing the other phoenix. There is a seal script “made in the Qianlong year of the Qing Dynasty” on the bottom
This Shuanglian Zun is a palace display made in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. It is ingenious in design, innovative in antiquity, and exquisite in processing. It is a representative work of palace jade in the Qianlong period.
