[Stone Plum Blossom Bonsai]

Stone Plum Blossom Bonsai, made in the Qing Dynasty, is 30.5cm high. The old collection of the Qing Palace
Agate carved bergamot is a basin, with one large and one small bergamot folded together, and a butterfly is carved on the wall of the basin to fly down. The basin is equipped with a carved wooden base. The pot is wrapped with green silk wire and bent into branches to form a plum tree. The silver gilded calyx and stamen of the plum flower are welded on the top of the copper branch. The copper wire is wrapped with red silk wire as the pistil of the flower, and the white jade and white material are used as the five petals of the plum flower, which are inlaid between the calyx and stamen. The buds with buds but not open are inlaid with white jade or hibiscus stone on the silver calyx, and the flowers and leaves are carved from sapphire. A few ivory chrysanthemums are interspersed among the plum blossoms. As the petals fall off slightly over time, the leaves are made of dyed ivory and the veins are outlined with gold
The flowers in this scene are sparse, pavilions are covered, thin but not weak, soft and firm, the colors are bright and beautiful, a white plum blossom and an agate basin complement each other, elegant and charming.
