Agate carved toad snuff bottle, clear, 7.7 cm high, 5.5 cm wide
The snuff bottle is made of agate, translucent and grayish yellow. There are naturally formed fine and irregular dark reddish brown spots and filiform texture in the agate. Flat bottle, straight mouth, with powder tourmaline cover, ivory spoon under, oval ring foot at the bottom. On one side of the pot, a toad is carved in red and lies on the rocks. The smoke cloud from the toad’s mouth holds up the red sun. The other side is plain without grain decoration
This tobacco pot is warm and moist, soft in color, exquisite in shape and skillful in carving.
