This is the booty seized in Ili and presented to the Imperial Court during the Qing army’s war against Amur Sana rebellion in the 21st year of Qianlong (1756). Emperor Qianlong loved it very much, In the 22nd year of Qianlong’s reign (1757), the craftsman was ordered to engrave an imperial poem in the jade plate: “The green jade plate is two feet in diameter and six feet in circumference. The green jade plate is full of fine luster. The green onion produced in the Congling Mountains has its color, and the light is flawless and carefree without trace. The moon is three or five in the Baobao Mountains, and the quality is carved with a few decorations. Hongbi Wanyan knows who knows, and the absurd people see and pass it on to the Jingguo. The old tribute uses the character of Zhengyuan, and the finished product is still made by other stones. The soup plate is engraved with the sun and the new Germany. It is both broad and generous, forgiving the bamboo mat, and the style is like a metaphor.”
