[Qing Tuo’s “Lanting Eight Posts” Feng Chengsu copied the Lanting Preface]
Qing Tuo’s “Lanting Eight Posts” Feng Chengsu copied the Lanting Preface, wooden face. Black gold is refined and carved. It is folded and installed, half open 29.8 cm vertically and 17.3 cm horizontally
Feng Chengsu copied the Preface to the Orchid Pavilion, and the ink was painted on the stone. The original is a copy of the Tang Dynasty in the Orchid Pavilion. The words “age” and “group” are broken, that is, commonly known as “open branch”, “Yang” and “Ke” are broken, and the rewritten words such as “cause”, “Xiang”, “pain”, “husband” and “wen” are written successively. Due to the half-print of the title “Shenlong” of the Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty, it is also called “Preface to the Lanting Pavilion of the Shenlong”, which is different from other copies of the Tang Dynasty. Guo Tianxi of the Yuan Dynasty believed that it was Feng Chengsu’s copy, and Xiang Yuanbian of the Ming Dynasty identified it as Feng’s copy. Its original is now in the Palace Museum in Beijing
In the rubbings, such as the eight-pillar orchid pavilion and the Fengfang carved stone pavilion, are the “Shenlong orchid pavilion” systems. Other people who carved the “divine dragon” seal were not carved according to the original track, but were fabricated
This post is engraved into the “Orchid Pavilion Eight Posts” as the third post (Volume 3), with the seal of “Summer Resort” and “Treasure of Emperor Qianlong”. The title of the single post is regular script: “Feng Chengsu imitates the preface of Lanting”. There are inscriptions and postscripts of Zhao Mengfu, Guo Tianxi, Xian Yushu, Deng Wenyuan, Wang Shoucheng, Li Tingxiang, Wenjia, Xiang Yuanbian and other families, and the inscription of “Shenlong” and “Fu Shu Fu”
