Interpretation:
The bell in the mountain temple is ringing in the evening, and the fish beam is competing for the noise. People follow the sand bank to the river village, and I return to Lumen by boat. Lumen opened the smoke tree in the moonlight, and suddenly came to Pang Gong’s shelter. The pine path in the rock gate is long and lonely, and only the quiet people come and go. Record Meng Xiangyang’s poems. In September of the reign of Xuantong Gengxu, the old man from neighboring Su wrote in Juwan, Yicheng, at the age of 70
This running script records a poem by Meng Haoran, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, entitled “Return to Lumen Mountain Song at Night”. At the end of the poem, he said: “The poem of Meng Xiangyang was recorded, and the old man of the neighboring Su wrote in Juwan, Echeng, in September of the reign of Xuantong Gengxu, two years old at that time.” The next seal is “Yang Shoujing”, and “The book of the late seventies of Xingwu”. This picture has no hidden seal. “Xuantong Gengxu” is the second year of Xuantong (1910)
The calligraphy on this axis is simple, elegant, simple and thick. It can be used to cast inscriptions, embody the rhyme of Hanli, follow the style and rules of Wei steles, and the writing style is slightly stagnant. It is steep and ancient, and has the charm of letter books. The beautiful knot, free and easy writing, and the posture of jumping and falling, represent the artistic level of Yang Shoujing’s calligraphy in his later years.
