Printed copper cast, post button. The Chinese and Manchu characters are cast in the wide frame of the positive line on the printed face, and the contents are compared. The Chinese characters are read sequentially from the top right, and the Manchu characters are read sequentially from the top left. The printing platform has two inscriptions in Chinese and Manchu characters: “Made by the Ministry of Rites. November, the 14th year of Qianlong’s reign. Qianzi No. 268”
This is the official seal of the Qing Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, the system of eight banners was implemented, with three levels of management, namely, banners (“Gushan” in Manchu), banners (“Jiala” in Manchu), and assistant banners (“Niulu” in Manchu). Manchu, Mongol, and Han were all in charge of garrison. Zhenghuang Banner is one of the three upper banners under the direct command of the emperor. Zhenghuang Banner was compiled and established in the 36th year of Kangxi (1697). “Tuji” is the title of the official seal of the Eight Banner Assistant Leader, the patriarchal clan and the Chueluo patriarch in the Qing Dynasty. This seal was cast in 1749, the 14th year of Qianlong reign.
