[She Stone Banana Leaf Inkstone]
She Stone Banana Leaf Inkstone is clear, 15.3 cm long, 9.8 cm wide and 1.95 cm high. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The inkstone is made of She stone, cyan black, full of cow hair, and cut into banana leaf shape. The banana leaf veins carved on the back of the inkstone roll inward to the left of the inkstone, which is lively and full of natural interest. The inkstone box is painted with red paint, and the surface of the box is filled with the gold official script “archaic banana leaf style”
The Chengni banana leaf inkstone is included in the fourth volume of the Western Qing Dynasty Inkstone Manual of the Qing Dynasty, which is determined to be made in the Song Dynasty. This inkstone looks like it, probably because it is named after “archaize”
