This picture shows an ancient tree with vines winding on its branches and yellow leaves floating, a scene of late autumn. A black squid (Yinquyu, commonly known as myna) hangs upside down from a branch and looks at the other two fighting in the air. They fight fiercely and the plot is quite interesting, which enhances the life and vitality of the painting
The whole painting is flexible and fresh, the dead branches and vines are used to express freehand brushwork, the feathers are used to express freehand brushwork, and the combination of virtuality and reality is the representative work of Huashi’s freehand brushwork
The inscription on this page reads: “Hua Yan, a native of Mount Silla.” The white square seal of “Autumn Mountain” is stamped.
