This tower is a typical form of Tibetan tower (Hehuan Tower), but its belly has eight niches, and the seven-story tower wheel has multiple niches to offer small statues. The idea is quite creative, obviously drawing on the ideas of wall niches and tower niches in Han architecture. The tower body is decorated with pearls and gemstones, showing the characteristics of royal handicrafts
The octagonal pagoda is a very unique tower shape, which is extremely rare in Tibetan areas, and the number of preserved Buddhist halls in the Forbidden City is also small. This tower has both Han and Tibetan styles, which is even more rare
