Wangyun bamboo lotus leaf cup, 8.3 cm high, 9.5 cm caliber
The cup is in the shape of a broken branch lotus leaf carved from bamboo root, and a lotus flower is carved near the bottom. The lotus leaves are rolled, the petals are relaxed, and the lotus seeds are full. The flowers and leaves are carved shallowly, and the veins are hidden. There is a crab hidden between the petals. It is very interesting if you want to climb. The bottom foot is made of lotus flowers and leaf stems coiled, ingenious and natural. The inside wall of the cup is inscribed with a five-character poem in official script, which reads: “Cut the green bamboo pole and make it into a blue tube cup. The frost is very fat and I am drunk with new fermented grains.” and “Melin Mountain People in the autumn of Wanli Gengchen (1580)”. The seal of “Wangyun” is engraved near the bottom
“Molin Mountain People” is the name of Xiang Yuanbian, a famous Anhui collector in the Ming Dynasty. This cup may be his own. The “Wangyun” model is to be tested
