Rectangle plate of red flowers chart, 3.8 cm high, 36.3-23.6 cm diameter
The square pattern brocade ground inside the plate is embossed with a hundred flowers. The two clusters of large chrysanthemums and lotus flowers are in the middle, surrounded by a variety of small flowers with broken branches, with clear priority and rank of density. All kinds of flowers are carved on the wall outside the panel, and the feet are painted with red paint. On the feet, there is a small horizontal inscription with a knife filled with gold “made in Jiawu, Yongle, Ming Dynasty”. There is a Hongli inscription in the 47th year of Qianlong’s reign (1782):

The “orchard” in the poem indicates the early imperial lacquerware workshop orchard factory. The Yongle style of this plate is not in line with the characteristics of Yongle style, which is carved by later generations. The poem was added during Qianlong.
