The plum bottle has a small mouth, a round lip, a short neck, a full shoulder, a gradual contraction under the shoulder, and a round foot. The shoulders and feet are decorated with a lotus petal pattern covering the upper part and the lower part. The lotus petal pattern is blue and white, with white outline lines and circle dots painted on the ground. The belly motif is decorated with flower patterns such as tangled peonies, chrysanthemums, camellias, etc. The shoulder is horizontally written with six characters of blue and white regular script “made in Xuande year of the Ming Dynasty” from right to left
