In 1984, the Xuande white-glazed incense burner with the same size and similar shape and style as this blue and white incense burner was found at the Ming Dynasty imperial kiln site in Zhushan, Jingdezhen. It can be seen that the imperial incense burner in the Xuande period was characterized by its atmospheric and majestic shape
