The bowl is round with round feet, and the cover is nearly hemispherical, with a spherical knob on the top. Carved red peony, camellia, chrysanthemum, gardenia, pomegranate and other flowers on the yellow ground. The cover is carved with ganoderma lucidum, and the edges of the mouth and feet are carved with echo lines. The foot is painted black, and one side of the needle is marked with six characters of “Ming Yongle Year System”
This bowl has a large body, beautiful and dignified shape, excellent paint and exquisite carving. The composition of its decorative patterns is dense, and the red flowers are more and more bright against the background of yellow paint. The carved lacquer bowl in the early Ming Dynasty was very rare, and it was one of the only two handed down articles.
