This seal is the seal of the king at the time of naming Chu and Han in the Ming Dynasty. The “King of Henan” in the seal was originally the King of Chu and Han Dynasties, named Shenyang. According to the Records of the Historian, Xiang Yu’s Chronicle, “Those who have a defect in Shenyang, Zhang Er likes his ministers. They go down to Henan [county] first and meet the Chu River, so Shenyang was established as the king of Henan and the capital of Luoyang.” In the second year of the Western Han Dynasty (205 BC), Liu Bang, the king of the Han Dynasty, went to the east and Shenyang, the king of Henan, went down, and the land was set as the county of Henan.
