[Ming Tuo’s “Xihong Tang Tie” Liu Gongquan’s Lanting Poems]
Ming Tuo’s “Xihong Tang Tie” Liu Gongquan’s Lanting Poems, wooden face. The black paper is mounted and folded, half open, 28.7cm long and 13.3cm horizontal
The Xihongtang Calligraphy collected the calligraphies seen by Dong Qichang since the Jin and Tang dynasties. Shen Hongjia and Sun Shangcheng carved them. The title of the official script is “Xihongtang Fa Shu I”, and the second line of the seal script is “Dong’s family was formed in Huating, Guimao Renri, at the age of 1603, the 31st year of Wanli”. There is a red wood-printed catalogue at the beginning of the post, which should be called “the Lent Book”. It was engraved in the tenth volume of the “Xihongtang Calligraphy” with the seal of “Dai Jingqian” and other seals, and there were postscripts of Yang Xifu, Xi Zhi, Cai Xiang (title), Li Chuyi and other inscriptions of the Song Dynasty. Lan Ting’s poetry is an incomplete excerpt; This is a poem written by 26 people including Wang Xizhi, Xie An, Xie Wan and Sun Chuo at the Lanting rally. There are 37 poems in total and two preface. Sun Xinggong’s “five-character poem preface” is later known as “postscript”. This poem was originally written in the Forbidden City. This poem is known as Liu Gongquan’s calligraphy, which is based on Huang Bosi’s postscript (fake), but the calligraphy style is not consistent with Liu’s calligraphy
