The drum surface is divided into 10 halos by single or double strings, 1 halo is decorated with the sun pattern, the light is thin and long, 4 halos are worn, and the heart pattern is between, 2 halos are decorated with the “0418” pattern, 3 halos are decorated with the comb pattern, 4, 8 halos are decorated with the plain pattern, 5, 7, 10 halos are decorated with the milk nail pattern, 6 halos are decorated with the lotus hoe, chicken, cow, rabbit, dog, crane, pig, horse, sheep, frog, fish, and pearl pattern, the dragon pattern is the main pattern, 9 halos are decorated with the thunder pattern, and there are also the thunder pattern, the mark and the day lily pattern outside the halo. Drum body, chest decorated with 4 patterns, 1 halo decorated with milk nail pattern, 2 halo decorated with line pattern, 3 halo decorated with thunder pattern, 4 halo decorated with lotus pattern. The pattern of this drum is simple and the casting is rough, which shows the decline of bronze drum production. In addition, the individual bird and animal motifs on the bronze drum are derived from the twelve zodiac signs. Such motifs are common on porcelain and bronze in the Ming and Qing dynasties, so it is inferred that the age of the bronze drum is the Ming Dynasty.
