There are seven five-character poems in this book. It can be seen from the signature that the year of “Wu Yin” was the 11th year of Chongzhen (1638) of the Ming Dynasty, and Zhang Ruitu was 69 years old. This poem was written by him when he saw off his grandson Yang Xuanxi, who went to Beijing to work. Yang Xuanxi, known as Kanghou, was a scholar in the seventh year of Chongzhen (1634), and was the chief official of the official department. Zhang Ruitu’s calligraphy was taken from Zhong You’s regular script, which was unique in his later years. He is good at using the style of his pen. His writing is vigorous and stubborn. His book has a unique style in the late Ming Dynasty. Most of the calligraphy brushes in this book are sharp, square and hard, with various sizes and strange postures. They are carefully made by Zhang in his later years.
