The content of this book is “Preface to Sending Li Wish to Return to Pangu” written by Han Yu, a famous writer of the Tang Dynasty. The author of this painting signed the “Book of Shen Du in the Clouds”, in which the “Book of Shen Du in the Clouds” refers to Hua Ting, Shen Du’s hometown (now Songjiang, Shanghai). Shen Du’s calligraphic work is elegant and dignified, and is the representative of his regular script of “Taige style”.
