Chengni Panchi Inkstone is bright, 11 cm long, 6.8 cm wide and 4.3 cm thick
The inkstone is fired from clear mud. The surface of the inkstone is a rectangular inkstone hall, the ink receiving place is smooth, and the head end is deeply concave as a small square pool. It is surrounded by curved water, with “S” pattern on the interior of the frame. The side of the inkstone is carved with dragon patterns, and the four corners have animal-shaped feet. The back of the inkstone is deeply concave, and the four characters “Shen Guo Gong Yan” are carved in the bottom
This inkstone is simple and simple in shape, small in size, orange in color, like ancient copper, with denudation on the surface. In the form of antique Chengni inkstone, there were many imitations in the Ming and Qing dynasties
