“Long Fei Spring in the first year of Hongguang” is the title of Zhu Yousong, the king of the Southern Ming Dynasty, which is equivalent to the second year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1645), and the age of Huang Daozhou is 61. Huang Daozhou and Zhang Pu are friendly. This epitaph was written by Huang Daozhou. At the front of the volume is the introduction of He Shaoji’s regular script: “Mr. Shi Zhai wrote the epitaph of Zhang Tianru.” At the back of the volume are the inscriptions of Zhou Yongnian, Liang Zhangju, He Shaoji, and the seals of Gao Shiqi, Liang Zhangju, Qian Daxin, Luo Zhenyu, etc., which are collected and printed for 20 square meters
This volume of regular script is like Zhong You. Its style is clear and vigorous, its structure is dense, and its pen is straight and powerful. It is sometimes mixed with square folded pen, and has the meaning of North Stele. It is not easy to break through the customs and create a fresh and vigorous style of calligraphy at the time when the soft and beautiful style of calligraphy is popular.
