[Red sandalwood carved flower pattern round box]
Red sandalwood carved flower pattern round box, bright, height 3.1 cm, caliber 6.9 cm, foot diameter 3.3 cm
The round box is made of red sandalwood, with a small mouth folded inward, flat and round, lying on the foot, and harmonious and beautiful curvature. The box cover and wall are embossed with large camellias, and the surrounding is decorated with plum flowers. The carving style is thick and thin, hard and soft, especially in the petal turning treatment of flowers. The author uses shallow carving to show the curl and level of petals, reflecting the exquisite carving skills
This round box is similar to another carved lacquer ink box in shape and should also be used as an ink box.
