[Sun Ruiqing Shenpin Ink]

Sun Ruiqing Shenpin Ink is 19.5 cm long, 6.0 cm wide and 1.4 cm thick
Ink rectangle, slightly round at the top, full-body paint coat. The ink face is carved with the flying pattern of two phoenixes, which is in high spirits, and the gap is decorated with the cloud pattern of the meaning shape. The upper part of the ink face reads the word “divine product” in regular script, and the left part reads the word “made by Sun Ruiqing” in regular script. The back is carved with two dragons playing with pearls on the sea, and the four sides are embossed with plum and bamboo patterns. Mo Ding Yang read regular script “Sun Yuquan”. This ink decoration is colorful with gold, blue and silver
Huizhou ink at the end of the Ming Dynasty has a distinctive style of the times. For example, in the production of ink molds, he is good at carving patterns with deep knives, and the decorative patterns of the ink products highlight the ink surface. Although the dragons and phoenixes on the ink are represented by yang lines, the overall outline of the decoration lines is sunken on the ink surface, which is undoubtedly an innovation. At present, it is generally believed that “Shenpin” ink is the original work of Chinese shade ink and a milestone in the production of Huizhou ink industry
