The “Linglong Jade” piano is a variant of Zhongni style. Zhao Xihu of the Southern Song Dynasty, in his book “Dongtianqinglu – Guqin Differentiation”, said that “Guqin is only like Confucius and Liezi”, which shows that it was most familiar and popular at that time. The wood is carved with thick boards and small openings. The phoenix tongue is inlaid. The shape of the marsh is special. The sound is pasted with wood chips. Black paint, Babao grey tire is extremely thin, and the belly of the snake is broken between the cattle hairs. Gold badge, white jade bar foot, red sandalwood tail, only the tail support is mahogany, and the guard bar is damaged
There is an inscription on the back of the piano, and the name of the running script “Linglong Jade” is engraved on the dragon pond. On the left and right, there is a cursive inscription on the zither: “Cave of Yiyang, material of empty mulberry. The phoenix crows in autumn and the crane dances on the Yaotai.” The running script under the Longchi is “retro hall”, and the big seal of the nine-fold inscription “Treasure of the Imperial Book”. “Antique Palace”, one of the temples built in Jiankang (Nanjing) after the second year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1132), was built in Lin’an (Hangzhou) in the 28th year of Shaoxing (1158). All the inscriptions were made by hand at that time, and all were gilded
