Jun kiln grey purple glaze slag bucket flowerpot, Northern Song Dynasty?, Height: 21.5cm, caliber: 23cm, foot diameter: 13.5cm
The flowerpot is of slag bucket type. Wide mouth, gradually converging below the mouth, round belly, circle feet, slightly skimming feet. The height of mouth and abdomen is equal. The whole body is covered with gray purple glaze, and the glaze surface has fine fragments. The ring foot end is not glazed, and the outsole is painted with light brown tire protection glaze. The outsole is engraved with the numeral “two” and has five round holes for water seepage
This flowerpot is dignified and simple in shape, and its glaze is pure and elegant.
