Xuanhe Zun, 29 cm in height, 17.4 cm in caliber and 5.4 kg in weight
This statue is a three-section tubular statue. Wide mouth, bulging belly, round foot. The whole body is decorated with patterns, the lower part of the mouth is decorated with inverted leaf patterns, the neck is decorated with small silkworm patterns with hanging head and bow body, and the abdomen and circle feet are decorated with animal face patterns. The body is also decorated with four leaf edges, with the upper end aligned with the mouth edge, making the body more solemn
The inside of the statue is cast with five lines of 26 characters in large seal, which are interpreted as follows:
In just 26 words, we have clearly described the name, master, production time and purpose of Zun. This statue was made by Zhao Ji, Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, on the fifth day of the first month of the third year of Xuanhe’s reign (1121). It is a sacrificial utensil set on the altar of Fangze.
