“Golden Bell” Qin, Song Dynasty, 115.7 cm in total length, 107.9 cm in hidden space, 16.4 cm in forehead width, 19.6 cm in shoulder width, 13.6 cm in tail width and 4.8 cm in thickness. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The “golden bell” zither, Zhongni style, is painted black all over, the hair of cattle is broken, and the horn of Gebudi is grey. The cement is tight and the bore is shallow. Rectangular pond, phoenix tongue inlaid. There are four more clam badges, and the guard bar is missing. The red sandalwood is at the end of the mountain. The red sandalwood feet are sticky and cannot be removed. The piano is flat and thin, with a slight roundness on both sides of the base plate, and a slight thinning of the bottom of the forehead
The inscription on the back of the piano was originally gilded, but now it will fall off. The name of “golden bell” in small seal is carved on the top of the dragon pool. On the left and right sides of the pool are engraved the official script Qin inscription “Leisure and evil accept justice, guide virtue and spread love”, on the bottom of the dragon pool is engraved the cursive script “Xuanhe Hall”, and on the other hand, the nine-fold script “Royal Book Treasure” is printed. “Xuanhe Hall” was built in the second year of Shaosheng (1095) of Song Zhezong, and renamed Baohe Hall in the first year of Xuanhe (1119) of Huizong, with a total of 24 years. This zither should also be made during this period. It should be the “official zither” of Huizong
