Song Tuo Grand View Post

[Song Tuo Daguan Posts]

During the Daguan period of the Song Dynasty (1107-1110), Zhao Ji, the Emperor of Huizhou, had many wrong titles in the “Chunhua Pavilion Posts” compiled by Wang, and the edition had been broken, so he found the authentic works in the inner court, and ordered Long Dayuan and others to change the order and copy the stone again. The word line is two inches higher than the “Chunhua Pavilion”. The middle title is written by Cai Jing, and the inscription at the end of each volume reads: “On the first day of the first month of the third year of the Grand View (1109), the stone was copied by the decree.” Because the stone was placed in the Taiqing Tower, it is also called the Taiqing Tower
The Daguan Posts are the legacies of the past dynasties. The first volume is the book of emperors, the second, third and fourth volumes are the book of famous officials, the fifth volume is the ancient book of various families, the sixth, seventh and eighth volumes are the book of Wang Xi, and the ninth and tenth volumes are the book of Wang Xian. It is well copied. The beginning and end of the cursive script, the turning point, the swing, the advance and the retreat of the cursive script are accurate, graceful and vigorous, the momentum is flying, and the color is shining, which is better than “Chunhua Pavilion”. The initial rubbings of this book are not available except for the emperor, so it is difficult to spread. There are only a few copies of Song Tuo
The Palace Museum has a collection of Liaocheng Yang Shao and the old collection. It has two, four, six, eight, and ten volumes of partial posters, which are combined into three volumes. Dark black, hemp paper, Song Tuo 32.4 cm vertically and 20.7 cm horizontally per page. There are inscriptions of Wen Zhengming and Qi Junzao in the front, and postscripts of Sun Yuwen, Yang Shaohe, Chongen, Wang Zheng and Wu Jingchen in the back, as well as seals of “Fan Dachu Book Seal” and “Wu Shi Huacheng Pavilion Stone in Wuxi”
In addition, the second, fourth and fifth volumes of the Grand View Notes are collected by Li Zonghan. The Chinese History Museum has volume 7, and Nanjing University has volume 6. It’s too rough to finish; Merlin Xingfeng, that’s all.
