Preface to Wu Lan Pavilion in Song Dynasty, wooden face, regular script inscription “Song Tuo Jiu Zi Damaged Version”. The paper and ink are pure and ancient. The white paper is cut and inlaid with butterfly, which is in three halves. The half-width is 24cm vertically and 9.5cm horizontally
This Lanting preface is the Dingwu series. The nine words “pavilion, train, secluded, prosperous, tour, ancient, not, group, special” and the five words “turbulence, flow, belt, right and sky” are all damaged. Zhou Shouchang’s postscript: “This is Mr. Wang Xuzhou’s nine-character damaged version of Song Tuo, and Mr. Weng Qinxi’s frequently called Cheng Mengyang’s version in the Lanting examination…” The regular script on the front page of the post is “The most precious, Buri sincerely knows”. The attached page contains 10 paragraphs of the postscript of Cheng Mengyang, Chen Yixi, Yuan Baoheng, Lu Chaolin and Zhang Guangzhao. It also bears the seals of “Lu”, “Bai’s Seal”, “Guang Zhao”, “Wu’s Lotus House”, “Yun Ge Book”, “Li Yunju”, “Long Xiang’s Seal”, “Chen Chao Lin’s Seal”, “Shuang Shi Gu Yan Zhai”, etc
