[Ru Kiln Tianqing Glaze Tripod Cup Holder]
Ru Kiln Tianqing Glaze Tripod Cup Holder, Song Dynasty, 4 cm high, 18.5 cm caliber, 16.9 cm foot pitch
The bearing plate has straight mouth, shallow belly, flat bottom, and three hoof-shaped feet. The inside and outside are painted with light sky blue glaze, and the glaze surface has fine grain. The outsole is full of glaze, and there are 5 small burnt nail marks. Emperor Qianlong once wrote a poem for it, which was engraved on the outer bottom of the utensil by the court craftsman in official script. The poem said:
The purple clay pottery becomes the iron foot three, and the fable gets the middle letter
It is easy to dismiss the Tibetan doctrine from the original contract, and the Song Zhao talks about things in a hubbub way
At the end of the sentence, the “Emperor Qianlong and Wuxu” was added. “Qianlong Wuxu” is the forty-third year of Qianlong, 1778 A.D
The shape of this piece is a unique item handed down from generation to generation, and it is very precious. It used to be called “tripod washing” or “tripod plate”, but from the perspective that the unearthed bronze tripod bottle of Han Dynasty was used with tripod bearing plate, it should also be used with the tripod bottle of Ru kiln.
