[Lin Bu Xingshu Self-written Poems Volume]

Self-written Poems Volume, Song Dynasty, Lin Bushu, paper version, hand scroll, 32 cm vertically and 302.6 cm horizontally. The running script has 34 lines and 6 paragraphs
This volume was written by Lin Bu when he retired to the lonely mountain of the West Lake. There are five poems in total. Except for the second five-character poem, the rest are seven-character poems
According to Lin Bu after the poem, “When the emperor ascended the throne in summer and May”, it can be seen that this work was written in Guihai (1023), the first year of Renzong Tiansheng. Lin Bu was 57 years old. Its style is thin, vigorous, elegant, thick and graceful, and it is very close to the style of Li Jianzhong. After the poem, there is Su Shi’s seven-character poem “After the Book and the Poem of Jinglin Magistrate”. There is no model year. According to Mr. Xu Bangda’s research, it may be written by Su Shi (about 54 years old at that time) when he came to Hangzhou for the second time as an assassin in the fourth and fifth years of Yuanyou. This book is a collection of powerful and charming works. It is one of the rare works handed down by Su Shi. These two famous calligraphies reflect each other and are a rare treasure
There are two inscriptions of Emperor Qianlong’s five imperial poems with the original rhyme of Su Shi (one of which was written by Dong Gao), and three postscripts of Wang Shizhen, Wang Shimao and Wang Hongxu of the Ming Dynasty
This seal bears the seal of “Jiyang Wenfu” and the seal of Wang Hongxu of the Qing Dynasty and Qing Neifu
