Liulichang kiln, also known as Huayang kiln, is a porcelain kiln of the Tang and Song dynasties in Chengdu, Sichuan. The kiln site is located in a village of Shengli Township, south of Huayang County. It is known as “Liulichang” because of its local common name. The kiln began in the Five Dynasties and flourished in the Southern Song Dynasty. It mainly produces daily ceramics, such as bowls, cups, plates, pots, bottles, cans, furnaces, lamps and small toys.
