The mouth of this tank is skimmed, short neck, round belly and flat bottom. The shoulder is symmetrically placed with a semi-circular system. The tank body is painted with black brown glaze to the foot, and is decorated with moon white patches. This is a famous flowered porcelain pot of the Tang Dynasty
In the Tang Dynasty, pots were the most common among the flowered porcelain, including tall ones, short ones, large ones and small ones, with various shapes. The bottom glaze includes black glaze, sauce glaze, sky blue glaze, etc. The patterns on the glaze are moon white, sky blue, gray and black, and some of the two colors blend with each other.
