Li Hao’s wind shaped ceramic inkstone

[Li Hao’s wind-shaped pottery inkstone]

Li Hao’s wind-shaped pottery inkstone, Tang Dynasty, is 20.5cm long, 13.8cm wide, and 4.6cm high

The inkstone is dustpan shaped, and is also called wind-shaped inkstone because it looks like the word “wind”. The head of the inkstone is high and warped, and the concave is like a phoenix pool, which is integrated with the inkstone hall. The two sides of the inkstone are cut like knives, and the lines are straight and smooth. “Li Hao” is engraved in regular script between the trapezoidal feet on the bottom, which is clearly visible

This inkstone clay is fine, smooth, thin and light, which is comparable to stone inkstone. The shape is a popular inkstone in the Tang Dynasty
