Black brown glaze is applied throughout the body, but the glaze is not applied to the end. The can body is decorated with three consecutive large blue patches
The glaze of this jar is dark and bright, setting off the sky blue irregular large leaf-shaped patches, bright and lively. Similar to this complete shape, it is rare in similar works, and it is the best of the flower porcelain produced by Lushan kiln in Henan
The flower-glazed porcelain is called “flower-glazed porcelain” in ancient literature, and is a new creation of the Tang Dynasty porcelain technology. The kilns where flower-glazed porcelain is fired are mainly distributed in Henan Province. It is known that Lushan, Neixiang, Yuxian and Jiaxian kilns in Henan Province all burn flower-glazed porcelain. In addition, the site of firing flower-glazed porcelain was also found in Jiaocheng, Shanxi. Flower glaze porcelain is made of glaze containing two different metal oxide colorants, which are glazed twice on the body and fired at high temperature. Its characteristics are that on the ground of black glaze, yellow glaze, sky blue glaze or tea end glaze, it is decorated with sky blue or moon white patches, varying in number, or regular, or sprinkling. Either the dark glaze is lined with light spots, or the light glaze is decorated with dark patches on the ground to set off each other, which is quite eye-catching.
