Pottery painted female figurines, Tang Dynasty, 30.5 cm high and 8.5 cm wide
The female figurines wear a high crown, with the front slightly folded, triangular shape, and the top raised, which looks like a monk’s trumpet hat. There is a towel under the crown, hanging down to the shoulder, which can be sourced from foreign countries. The female figurine has slightly closed eyes, straight nose and small mouth. She wears a narrow sleeved jacket with a front and a long skirt with vertical stripes at the bottom. The skirt waist and chest are folded outward, and her hands are under the chest. The characters in this work have delicate facial features and quiet temperament
