Sheep was regarded as auspicious animals in ancient China, and sheep-shaped celadon became a fashion for the time being
Blue glaze is the earliest color glaze of China’s porcelain, which appeared in the south. Celadon porcelain has always been the main product of Chinese porcelain. It has gone through the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Six Dynasties, the Tang Dynasty, the Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. The so-called “green glaze” is not pure green, but has several colors, such as yellow, green, and green, but it can always be cyan. The celadon glazes of all dynasties in China are mainly colored with iron. The amount of iron oxide in the glaze has a great influence on the color of the glaze.
