Open plate, shallow arc wall, circle foot. The whole body is painted with blue glaze. There are four large nail marks in the center of the plate. The inner wall is carved with a lotus petal pattern. The pattern is clear, concise and natural. Four groups of string patterns are also carved from the center of the disc to the edge of the mouth
The location of Xiaoshan Kiln was the hometown of the State of Yue during the Warring States Period, and it was one of the original celadon producing areas in Zhejiang Province. The Southern Dynasty continued to fire porcelain, which was characterized by gray body color and blue and yellow glaze. Among them, the lotus petal decoration products had Buddhist artistic color, reflecting the widespread spread of Buddhism in China at that time.
