The upper part of the barn is decorated with a variety of ornaments: there are three floors of Chonglou in the middle, a dog door on both sides of the first floor, and birds perching and rats foraging on the eaves. There are two pavilions on both sides of the Chonglou. Under the pavilions, there are eight servants with different instruments, who are playing music attentively. Five connected cans were piled on the top of the barn. The big pot was in the middle, and a rat was crawling out of the pot. The four small pots are arranged at the four corners of the big pot, surrounded by birds that lead their necks to look for food. The lower part of the barn is a complete celadon pot, and the rest of the shoulder of the pot is plastically pasted with a turtle tablet. The tablet is engraved with the words “Yong’an was rich in three years, and Yang (Xiang) Yi Gongqing had a long life span of thousands of years. People and animals such as deer, pigs, turtles and fish are pasted around the tortoise. There are also carved decorations such as dogs, fish and dragons, as well as words such as “fly”, “deer”, “sentence” and “five kinds”. The carcass is grayish white. The flat bottom is slightly concave. The whole body is covered with blue glaze, and the glaze is not very uniform

The device displays the scene of grain harvest in Wudi manor in Jiangnan more than 1700 years ago with three-dimensional sculpture of birds competing for food, celebrating the harvest, and livestock full of stalls, which exudes a strong flavor of life. This device is used for burial and is called the “nether” (also known as the “Ming”). The purpose is to hope that the deceased can still enjoy all kinds of life.
