Blue jade nose button “Du Yuan” seal, Eastern Han Dynasty, printing face 2.3 × 2.3 cm, 1.5 cm high
This is a private print of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is made of green jade, carved and has a nose button. The printed text is in Chinese seal character and white text. Read “Du Yuan” horizontally from the right, and the two characters are juxtaposed. The upper horizontal stroke of the “wood” character of the “Du” character turns directly, and the lower horizontal stroke turns like a round shoulder. This print has the meaning of writing directly, while the “Yuan” character is the standard font of the small seal character. The printed jade is yellow and green, and the yellow spots are like withered leaves covering the ground.
